About the National Association of Care & Support Workers

Welcome to NACAS—the National Association of Care & Support Workers! We’re an independent, passionate advocate for care and support workers across the social care sector. At NACAS, we believe care workers deserve recognition, respect, and the opportunity to be seen as the true professionals they are. That's why we're here—championing the value and professionalisation of care work and providing a platform for workers to have their voices heard.

Since 2016, we've been proudly self-funded through membership subscriptions, with no external grants or funding. This means we're fiercely independent, dedicated to our mission, and trusted by those who matter most.

NACAS empowers our members with everything they need to excel in their careers—whether that’s through best practice guidelines, top-tier training courses, or valuable networking opportunities. We work closely with policymakers, employers, and stakeholders (including the Department of Health & Social Care) to create policies that benefit care workers and elevate the quality of care for those who need it most.
