The National Association of Care & Support Workers is an independent social care stakeholder and professional body that advocates and provides a platform for care and support workers to have a voice in the sector and to promote the recognition and value of their work in the social care sector.
NACAS is entirely self funded. It receives no grants, or any other source of revenue, other than from its membership subscriptions.
Since its launch in 2016, NACAS has become a trusted and respected organisation in the social care sector, due to its commitment to promoting care working as a profession, best practices, high standards and advocacy for care and support workers. We provide a range of resources, training and education to our members, including access to best practice guidelines, training courses and networking opportunities.
NACAS works with policymakers, employers and other stakeholders to promote policies that support the needs and interests of care and support workers and improve the quality of care provided to vulnerable individuals. We also work collaboratively with the Dept of Health & Social Care who recognise our work and efforts to support the social care workforce.
Moreover, NACAS is highly regarded for its dedication to fostering the growth and well-being of care and support workers, and offers support to help its members manage stress, learn new skills and advance their careers.
